Special Cases June 2019

1) A 74-year-old man lives with his son and works in an administrative job at one of the schools in the village and is serving the church. The family depends on the pension of the father, whose salary is about 1,580 Egyptian Pounds per month. Five years ago, the father was diagnosed with a large lump in the abdomen that led to blockage in the gallbladder channel; he underwent surgery to remove the blockage and insert a stent, but now he needs to remove the gallbladder. The family cannot afford the cost of the surgery.

If you would like to help, we need contributions totaling 13,500 Egyptian Pounds to pay for his surgery.

2) A 22-year-old bride-to-be is studying at the Faculty of Law, living with her parents in a village in Upper Egypt. The father works at a motorcycle mechanic shop and the mother does not work. The bride-to-be has been engaged for about a year. The family does not get any regular financial support from the church except in special circumstances such as the marriage of the daughter. The daughter needs appliances, kitchen supplies, clothes and other furniture. The total cost is about 35,000 Egyptian Pounds; the family and church will contribute 15,000 Egyptian Pounds.

رجل يبلغ من العمر 74عاما يعيش مع ابنه الذى يعمل عمل إداري بإحدى المدارس بالقرية ومتفرغ للخدمة بالكنيسة. وتعتمد الأسرة في معيشتها على معاش الاب الذى يتراوح راتبه حوالى1580 جنيه شهرياً. وتعرض الاب منذ خمس سنوات بكيس دهني كبير بالبطن أدى الى انسداد في القناه المرارية وإجريت له عملية تسليك وتركيب دعامه ولكن يحتاج الأن الى استئصال المرارة وظروف الأسرة لا تستطيع تحمل كل هذه النفقات.

عروسه تبلغ من العمر22 سنه تدرس بكليه الحقوق تعيش مع والديها بإحدى قرى صعيد مصر، والد العروسة عامل بورشه صيانه متوسكلات ومريض بالسكر والضغط، والام تعانى من كهرباء زيادة بالمخ ولاتعمل، تم ارتباط العروسة منذ حوالى عام وهى من ضمن الاسر المستترة التي لا تعتمد مباشرة على مساعدة الكنيسة غير في الظروف الصعبة مثل زواج الابنة الثى تحتاج لشراء أجهزة كهربائية ومطبخ وملابس ومفروشات وأخرى، والتكلفة الإجمالية حوالى 35000 جنيه ستساهم الأسرة والكنيسة بمبلغ 15000 جنيه.
