Diocese Development Projects

Diocesan Development Projects work to improve entire communities in Egypt and Kenya in hopes of addressing the cause of the rampant poverty and illness in these areas. Technical training centers, medical clinics, plumbing systems, and day care facilities are built and developed in order to benefit entire communities. These projects are proposed by individual dioceses to address the specific needs of that diocese. Some examples are orphanages, hospitals, nursing homes, preschools, day cares, computer centers, wood shops, job preparedness and training, facilities for sewing, and providing clean water and sewage systems to villages.
